Head north from Roma Street Parkland towards Wooloowin, where you’ll enjoy a bike path completely separate from traffic. Before long, you’ll reach the Kedron Brook Bikeway, which leads you to Nudgee via the picturesque wetlands.

The wetlands are a highlight of this route, especially in the early morning when you can catch stunning sunrises and an orange sky. Occasionally, a thick fog envelops the area, adding to the magical scenery.

At the end of the bikeway, you’ll ride on a road towards Nudgee. While this road isn’t the busiest, it’s not the quietest either. If you choose to ride on the road, stay to the left and watch out for passing vehicles. Alternatively, you can stick to the bike path.

Nudgee is the perfect spot to take a break, refuel, and soak in the views. If you’re lucky, you might even spot someone riding a horse during low tide.

Overall, this route is ideal for cyclists of all levels. It’s a flat ride with breathtaking scenery close to the city, making it a refreshing change from the usual routes. Enjoy the ride!
