Event Campaign
sponsored campaign by: NXsports
Brisbane’s biggest cycling festival is more than just a date on the calendar or a start line to cross — it’s a celebration of people, places, and the shared love of riding bikes. That’s exactly why Pedal Brisbane, in collaboration with Tour de Brisbane and proudly sponsored by Transurban, is launching a new community-driven campaign: #RoadToTDB26.
While Tour de Brisbane is one of the most iconic cycling events in Queensland, we believe the magic doesn’t only happen on race day. It lives in the early morning roll-outs, the café stops after a ride, the nervous excitement of first-time participants, and the quiet determination of riders training toward a personal goal.
#RoadToTDB26 is our way of celebrating Brisbane’s cycling community as a whole — not just the race, but the journey that leads up to it.
As locals, Pedal Brisbane wants to celebrate this festival the best way we know how: by bringing people together. Whether you ride daily, ride socially, or are thinking about joining your first event, this campaign is an open invitation to cyclists across Brisbane and beyond to be part of something bigger.
At its heart, #RoadToTDB26 is about celebrating Brisbane’s cycling culture — the people who make it vibrant, welcoming, and inspiring. It’s about connecting communities, supporting local businesses, and creating shared moments on the road.
You don’t need to be racing to be part of it. You just need to ride.
Follow along as we roll toward Tour de Brisbane 2026. Join a ride. Attend a workshop. Bring a friend. Share your progress. Celebrate the small wins.
This is our road. This is our community. This is #RoadToTDB26.
Let’s ride it together.
#RoadToTDB26 is a shared journey we take together as cyclists preparing for Tour de Brisbane 2026. It’s about progress, not perfection. About community, not competition. From structured training to casual social rides, from learning the basics to fine-tuning race prep — this campaign is designed to support riders at every stage.
Between now and event day, Pedal Brisbane will be curating and hosting experiences that help you feel confident, connected, and ready.
Open Rides Around Brisbane
We’ll be sharing information about open rides across Brisbane and surrounding areas — rides you can simply turn up to and join. These are perfect for meeting new people, discovering new routes, and riding without pressure.
Social & Group Rides
From relaxed social spins to structured group rides, we’ll be organising rides that suit different speeds and experience levels. The goal? Ride together, support each other, and make training something you look forward to.
Workshops With Local Bike Shops
Preparing for an event isn’t just about kilometres. We’ll be working with local bike shops and experts to run workshops covering things like:
Bike maintenance & setup
Event-day preparation
Nutrition & fueling
Skills and confidence on the road
These sessions are designed to educate, empower, and remove the guesswork — especially for riders new to big cycling events.
Because showing up deserves recognition. Throughout the campaign, we’ll be running giveaways ranging from cycling gear and nutrition products to something extra special — free tickets to Tour de Brisbane.
